Move boldly. Rest deeply. Let go gently.
Join Lee Scott and Dana Rogers in the soulful beauty of Algonquin Provincial Park for four days of yoga, somatics, guided walks, nourishing food, and meaningful connection
— a deep exhale before the start of winter.
Balance strength with ease as you prepare for the winter season.
NOVEMBER 5th – 8th, 2026
Northern Edge Algonquin, Ontario
“I am most radiant and full of energy when the leaves are falling and there is a ghost of change in the air”
– Anna Madsen
At the end of autumn, the forest releases.
Leaves fall. Light softens. The air sharpens just enough to wake you up.
Autumn Strong is your invitation to meet the turning of seasons the same way — steady, grounded, and open-hearted.
This is a retreat about building strength you can feel in your bones, while softening the places that are ready to let go.
A golden pause before the quieter months arrive.
Our days will weave together:
Accessible and strength based yoga as well as balancing restorative practices
Somatic exercises and movement to support your nervous system
Mindful awe walking and heat generating walking drills beneath open skies and the embrace of the forest.
Guided meditation and breathwork
Wood-fired saunas and deep rest
Sharing circles and honest conversation
You’ll be nourished with vibrant, wholesome meals.
Held in community.
Given space to reflect, laugh, and simply be.
Move with intention.
Strengthen without striving.
Soften without collapsing.
This is not about pushing harder before winter.
It’s about balancing effort with ease.
It’s about aging powerfully
and softening wisely.
Trust your resilience.
Autumn Strong is for those who want to feel comfortable and capable in their bodies, and clear in their hearts as we move into a season of retreat and renewal.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, stronger, connected — and ready for the coming winter season.
This retreat is for those who:
Crave time in nature
Want strength without pressure
Value depth, warmth, and real connection
Appreciate both quiet reflection and genuine fun
Feel the call to reset before winter
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need experience.
You just need to arrive.

MEET YOUR HOSTS
LEE SCOTT & DANA ROGERS have over four decades of experience and training between them.
This is their third retreat together and they look forward to offering even more compassionate, unique, and inspiring content to their community.
Lee brings her specialties of guided walking, fitness and yoga, pranayama (breathwork), chanting, journaling, meditation, and connecting to nature.
Dana brings her training in somatics therapy/clinical somatics, yoga, aerial yoga, yin yoga, meditation, and trauma-aware community building.
LEE SCOTT (she/her)
Lee has been working as a fitness leader for more than 30 years. Known for her WoW Power Walking program which she created in 2002, she has brought fun, fitness, and marathon training to the pedestrian gait including speaking at fitness and health conferences across North America.
Lee has taught all manner of fitness classes over the decades and, in addition to her walking classes, currently focuses on leading strength workouts, yoga and meditation practice livestream.
Originally certified as a group fitness leader in 1992, she has been a certified personal trainer and health coach with the American Council of Exercise since 2001. Since 2013, she has completed more than 1,000 hours of yoga teacher training.
Lee is co-author of The Walking Solution (Human Kinetics, 2020) and author of Step Outside (Plumleaf Press) published earlier this year.
DANA ROGERS (she/her)
Dana began practising yoga 25 years ago after leaving the world of competitive dance. In the beginning yoga was a way to continue a regular movement practice, and later it became an invaluable tool to heal from substance misuse and mental health issues.
Dana has 1,000 hours of training in various yoga and somatic modalities and is a certified Clinical Somatic Educator and Therapist, serving on faculty at Homebody Healing in Edmonton teaching other educators. Her experience teaching aerial yoga, yin yoga, breath work, meditation, somatic dreaming, and ceremony, marries scientific and spiritual knowledge to guide people to access intuitive body knowledge over outside messaging. Dana’s aim is to amplify our innate wisdom through intuition and playful exploration – she hopes we all can feel healthy, joyful, and at home in our bodies.
She will be starting the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner training in September 2026.

Autumn Strong: a deep release
Come gather with us at autumn’s edge.
Among the trees, you’ll find the pieces of yourself you forgot.
Let go. Grow steady and strong.
“There is no better time than the autumn to begin forgetting the things that trouble us, allowing them to fall away like dried leaves.”
— Paulo Coelho
